i'm fizzgig and promise i don't bite

even if the guy in my sig line looks like he might

i lurked for a couple years before joining in the days leading up to the 2004 election. i still mostly lurk and read in the big forums and am an expert thread killer.

make sure to check out the groups, they are wonderful places for support and camaraderie and to get news on things important to you that don't always necessarily make it to the big forums.

but watch out for the maniacs in cooking and baking, we're a wild bunch

So why is it we can only see an upper portion of the guy in your sig line? I hope that sort of critter isn't "prepared" the same way lobster is...

I have no cooking skill, so send my husband (tkmorris) to the C&B group to gather ideas for dinner

I used to bake all the time, but it's hard to do (I found out I have Diabetes in 2002 and baking with Splenda doesn't yield the same consistency as baking with sugar).
